Hand-craft workshop.
A&C Shirtmakers counts on a professional team which is integrated by 40 people who are specialised in design, patterning, cutting, manufacturing, ironing and finishes, taking care of all the process and awarding the product with and artisan personality.
1. Boards
We dispose of two boards in which materials are stretched, markers drew and, following, the different parts of the garments are “destroyed”. In one of these boards we dispose of a semiautomatic wagon which makes the work easier when stretching the materials that later will be cut.
2. Store
In the store, all pieces of material which will be later used for making up the shirts, blouses and pajamas, are given a reference and kept.
3. Strip machine
This machine is used for really precise cuts. It is used for cutting yokes, shirt fronts, pockets, collars and cuffs. This specialisation makes easier the exact manufacturing.
4. Thermofixing and ironing
To divide into dozens: phase in which each part of the shirt, blouse or pajamas is prepared by consignments depending on the kind of thread with which they will be sewed. Thermofixing: here it is put the lining into the under collar, the top collar an the cuffs. Ironing: first phase of ironing for shirt fronts, facings and pockets.
5. Making up
Includes all the necessary operations for the shirt, blouse or pajamas’ construction. Each worker is specialised in one our two operations from de manufacturing process. Quality control: every garment is supervised one by one to extract the remaining threads from the manufacturing process and to get assured that its quality is 100% adequate.
6. Ironing and folding Ironing:
Second ironing phase, where the garment is already made up. Folding: Phase where each garment is manually folded taking the maximum care
7. Storage and distribution Labelling and fitting into boxes:
This is the last phase in the shirt, blouse and pajamas elaboration process. The garment is labelled and put into boxes, giving the maximum attention to our artisan products’ presentation. Storage and distribution of our products to our clients.
